Account Removal
Version 1.0 · Effective August 1, 2026
You can delete your Codetik account and the personal data associated with it at any time, either from inside the app or by email.
From the App
Open Settings → Danger → Delete account, confirm by typing your username, and the deletion starts immediately. This is the fastest route and needs no reply from us.
By Email
Send an email to accounts@codetik.dev from the email address linked to your account. Include your username so we can locate your account.
What Happens Next
- Your account closes right away and you are signed out everywhere.
- Your personal data is removed within 30 days.
- Copies and forks of your published tiks already made by other users are not deleted.
- Paid subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google and are not cancelled by deleting your account — cancel them in your store account settings.
